Hunapus for BCBS

For one, you may have been very lucky. For two, BCBS is widely distributed, so most people trading it away are not from Chicago.

 

Not really, I originally figured I wouldn't bother with tracking down any of this years BCBS assuming it would be more trouble than it was worth. But last Saturday I saw in the Chicagoland BCBS thread that people were still finding it at Binny's, so I called two locations (Bloomingdale and Lake Zurich) and they both still had some and my mom ran over and grabbed a few 4-packs.

Then on Saturday evening I saw chatter about Maryland getting some, so I sent an e-mail to my brother-in-law and he swung by two places and picked up a few 4-packs.

 

Huge rarity gap. Taste vs taste is spot on but I would trade something much less rare for BCBS.

 

Man, I'm not around here enough of late. I totally missed this.

Agreed... I bought a full case yesterday in the Chicago burbs and get this, at a discount for buying more than two 4 packs. It was definitely harder to find in 2011 and so many more places have it this year.

Just curious... am I far off offering 1:1 '12 Dark Lord for '12 Hunahpu? I've offered that a couple of times with extras and I get no response. I get that Huna is $20 and DL $15, so I throw in an extra FFF and call it a day, right?

 

Bottle counts are way off -- something like 24k bottles of DL vs. 4k bottles of Hunahpu -- plus a lower bottle limit for Hunahpu (2 per person, although some got more), plus the price difference. Not everyone cares about those things, but they might be contributing to your striking out. There's always new traders that picked up some Huna at the release and want to try DL since they've heard about it for so long, but I think most of those trades have already happened, and older traders are less likely to bite.

I saw 6 BCS for 1 Hunahpu earlier in the thread. So, 1 DL and 2 '12 BCS for 1 Hunahpu?

 

I traded 2 huna for 12 bcbs. Hurt to trade away two hunas but a 12 pack of bcbs is worth it. Shits good yo.
