My grandpa came from northern Illinois and always talks about how good that Hamms beer used to be (I heard it's terrible). However you cannot buy it or order it anywhere in Oklahoma or Arkansas. I'd like to get him a case or 2 for his birthday but unsure how to get it without driving 12 hours north. Any ideas?

Hamms is brewed part of Miller -Coors . Hamms Brewery in Wisconsin. The toll free Phone # 1-800-645- 5376. Note-- Hamms was a popular beer in Illinois back-in -the day.

I remember seeing their commercials all the time as a kid. No wonder I grew up to be such a degenerate :stuck_out_tongue: As for availability, I think it gets down to southern Missouri. My folks visited some friends that live near Branson, and I spotted a case in one of their photos.

I could mule you a case or two, the shipping would be the most expensive part. Let me know

Hah. They're like... $13-14 a 30 pack at the grocery stores up here. Every now and then I'll have one... usually when I see it on tap at a dirty hole in the wall bar. It's originally from Minnesota, and their signage and other branded items seem to be worth quite a bit.

I could meet you in Rockford or Chicago, then it'd only be about 9 hours.
