    Got to give a big shout out to Lordkrystic and Libbey, two excellent BAs that did more than enough to make me feel welcome and to look forward to another visit to Tacoma. The Red Hot is an excellent place to pick up a quality pint or three (though, sadly, I had to stick to one, along with one from E9, due to that pesky driving thing...). I will definitely be back next time I'm in the area.

    As someone who lives out of the area, I completely understand the (minor) problems you referenced in your review of the Red Hot. However, as you get to know the area better (and it sounds like you will), you'll easily figure out the traffic pattern around there, and learn where you can go to find parking without any hassle. One of the cool things about that part of town is its proximity to some of the other great spots in town. From that part of 6th avenue you can get over to both the parkway tavern and and pint defiance very easily (in opposite directions, but both places are quite close), and even the 7 Seas taproom is fairly close by (though you'll have to deal with a bridge toll if you head over to Gig Harbor).

    Just love that area of Tacoma...
