For fifteen years I've had this idea - now with the IPA craze and so many legal M growers it's now or never. As we all know marijuana and hops are cousins. I'm challenging you growers out there to choose a hop strain and grow it under lights, organic nutrients, proper ventilation and optimal conditions (no crowding, one plant per 1000 watts) The intensity would be incredible, look what those conditions do to the M. I've been told restraining the height could be a challenge, but that big, fresh, oily, smelly hop bud surely rewards. Do a homebrew and experiment....I'll accept a free bottle....Would love to hear your comments.

I'm not wasting grow-house space by growing hops.

That dude knows a lot about growing "M".. I hope a helicopter with a thermal camera never flies over his neighborhood. His house will light up like a Christmas tree.

Unless he is a senior citizen and likes his thermostat set to 90. I know older folks who do that

I grow hops and the bines get absolutely ENORMOUS and grow extremely fast. I think it would be more trouble that it's worth.

Already being done. Check out Hydro Hop Farm. You can buy some yourself and brew your own.

There are smaller varieties called Dwarf Hops that may be better for indoor growing.

One problem. As long as you have a [legal] hydroponic set-up It's probably waaaaaaaaay more profitable to grow marijuana. But on the other hand, if you have an illegal hydroponic set-up it may be a way to hide the illegal crop.
