A friend and I are driving from the Cincinnati area to New Orleans in a couple weeks, hoping to check out breweries along the way. We're planning on taking I-65 South, stopping in Louisville, Nashville and Birmingham for sure, but I was wondering if there are any other easily accessible breweries worth stopping at along the way.
    Thanks!

Definitely stop at Against The Grain in Louisville. The only brewery I've been to in Nashville was Yazoo. I did the tour, it was $7 and we got a mini snifter to try several of the beers. It was pretty cool.

You might want to check out Straight to Ale in Huntsville, never been to the brewery but the beers are good. In Tuscaloosa I had a nice IPA from a brewery called Druid City.

How can I forget Good People in Birmingham, definitely check that beer out as well.

Check us out here in Huntsville. Huntsville has a larger number of breweries per capita in the state. We have 7 in the city limits

Cool. Thanks! Any specific brewery in Huntsville you'd recommend over the others?

Me personally Straight to Ale is a fav but depending on your time in Huntsville there are many good ones to hit. Like from 65 you will pass blue Pants kinda going into Huntsville.

You'll pass cool springs area on 65 in franklin, TN. I would stop off at Cool Springs Brewery. It's in a strip mall, but they are doing some great beers. Derrick is probably one of the more outside the box brewers in the area. Also, they have really good fish and chips as well and if anybody with you that are tired of going to breweries, they can hit the mall
