    Hello fellow BA's,

In a few weeks I'll be cutting through the Twin Cities using I-94 on my way further west on a hunting trip. What is the best place to got to to grab some brew that's fairly close to the freeway? I would really like to grab a good amount of Furious. If there is anything else floating around please let me know. I was also thinking about grabbing some food at Townhall thoughts on that or is that way outta my way.

I checked the forums and place list on the site but I have no idea where any of these places are. I appreciate all the help.

    Stay safe and thanks

    Brad

Wel if you are coming west via, 94 and you pass through Hudson, Casanova's may or may not have Toppling Goliath, depends on when you are passing through (they are usually pretty up to date on twitter) Otherwise Zipps is right of 94 , and has easy access to get back going West if you arent taking any bypassses.

agree with these folks, if you are truly staying on 94 there is a lot of options... town hall and republic are pretty close to 94 as well, if you are taking 694, you are somewhat close to the Surly taproom on 100...

Unfortunately. Next Thursday I believe is the last day that taproom will be open. I think darkness day is the final Hoorah!

Ok closer examination looks like I will be hitting 694 then heading north and around the cities. Thanks for the help too.

    Confirmed.

If you're looking for one off-ramp stop for everything, I'd second Zipps. You can hit up Town Hall for food and Beer (with Republic right across the street, like you can look out the window of one and see the other), roll on down to Zipps for as good of a selection as you're gonna find in the area, and then hop back on I-94 all without having gone more than 2 miles out of your way. You can even see for yourself with this map.

As for finding Furious, pretty much any liquor store in the area will have some. Now how finicky you are about its freshness is another mater... Assuming a few weeks means you're making the trip through in November, you might be able to find some new Abrasive just starting to hit the shelves for the year and maybe even bottle of Eight. Anything non-Surly I'm sure you'll get all sorts of opinions, I'll just get the ball rolling with names. Start looking at Indeed, Steel Toe, Lift Bridge, Fulton, Bent Paddle, Bauhaus... they should all be well represented on the shelves at Zipp's (or most any other decent store around these parts) and are tough to find outside of the cities and/or Minnesota.

Stop in at Princeton's if you're going the 694 route. They'll have all the local stuff you want.
