Driving from NYC to Cambridge in a few weeks and will have some time on my hands for the return trip. Was planning to hit up Fox Farm, but haven't been tracking the best breweries in this region. Any suggestions outside of the norm...read: Trillium and Treehouse)?
Whatever you do, do not miss Fox Farm. The brewery itself is worth a visit. It’s a plus they make some of the best beers in the Northeast.
Indeed. Been a few times now. Was curious if there were any other breweries I was missing which are on par.
Shit, I was about to say Salem is well past Cambridge but keep forgetting about the Brighton taproom! Great spot, great beers.
Haha yeah I looked at where Brighton is in relation to Cambridge on maps before I recommended Notch. I wanted to make sure my NY ass didn't go recommending somewhere that was an hour detour.
When You go to Fox Farm, which is definitely a must hit. You are pretty close to Tox Brewing in New London which also has some pretty solid beers and does a decently wide range of styles. Super easy to get to from FF and about 15 minutes literally down the road. Enjoy the trip!
