Just keep your eye out, you will find one. It really is a great fridge for this "cellaring".

    If you add...
    http://www.amazon.com/Refrigerator-...UTF8&colid=OJY2UK3BU6JS&coliid=I3OTWN0FFN13CB
you can keep the temp at whatever temp you want, ie 55 for cerllaring purposes.

I had this same problem. I did the whole "Forgot your password?" thing and nothing happened. I emailed him and he was on a bushiness trip. Once he got back he reset my password and all is well now.

I suggest emailing him and asking him to reset your password to XXXXXX. It can be the same as it is now (that's what I did). I haven't had a problem since then.

He said it was a glitch with the case sensitivity of the email address and is addressing it. I was able to sign in with a different name and then logged off immediately to log back in. It didn't work, but when I asked for a new password, it sent me the link to change. I changed it and now I can log in and out of the site. I just don't want to spend another hour of my time logging this in and then can't access it, so I hope it works with no problems this time.

Wow, this is really neat. Thanks for pointing this out. My screen name is the same if anybody wants to check mine out. It's not much, but it's good enough for who it's for.

Question...I am finding lots of upright freezers on Craigslist more in my price range (that I am WILLING to spend). If I use your suggested device with one of these freezers, do you know the risk I run of frost? Do I have to get a frost free freezer for it to work appropriately?

Frost is going to be your biggest feat to conquer. I'm not sure how you prevent it, but a frost free version might be the only thing you will need. I only went with a frezeerless fridge because I found it and it seemed like a great idea. An upright freezer should work the same. Just get the external adjustment, and you should be good to go.

CellarHq is a great voyeur site to see what others have, but they need to allow you to sort the cellars by size. Just add a sort option to the column. Should be easy.

Agreed. I went searching through to find the biggest cellar. It took a while.

Also in the works of loading up my cellar with the same username if anyone wants to browse the selection. Love their easy loading format. Can't wait for them to have a mobile app version

I've seen many BAers with 50 or even 100+ Beats. You could buy 6 or 8 daily for almost 2 months. They just finally sold out a couple weeks ago. I know people say the brewery is out of the way so not many people can get there, but it's only an hour away from SF so I don't get that logic. Imo the hype from past releases has built up more hype and made it seem rarer. It amazes me how much it trades for

A couple thoughts on this. Point me to the link of the 100+ Beats. That sounds like a bit of an embellishment.
It was 6 per customer. Yes, you could buy 6 per day...but at 15 a pop I seriously doubt anyone did.
Yes they "finally" just sold out. There was a release with a line. I was there.
Yes, RR is an hour from SF. Not everyone lives in SF. Contrary to popular belief most live much much farther away. SF to RR is mostly agriculture land with few populated towns in between.
Please factor in gas, time, price, bridge tolls, food for one to get 6 bottles. It up near 200.00 or more for the "average" Bay Area folk.
The hype is for real for many reasons other than...c'mon guys it was available for ever and it was so easy to get. That thought logic is, for lack of a better term, elementary.
It's an amazing spontainisouly fermented sour with a ton of flavor all while being so mouth puckering sour it pulls every bit of saliva out of your tounge.

Ring ring, collage is on the phone and it's 44,000 bottles.

The hype is deserved and IMO not hyped enough with how amazing it is.

It's an embellishment that he's brought up in other threads as well, so it's apparently one that he actually believes is true. Yes, we get it already - you seem to think the entire Bay Area BA community has been purposely overvaluing Beatification to screw YOU over.

Sorry, completely missed this. I was a guy with 970ish beers in his cellar. It was very impressive. It was...I'll go find it. Hold on..

No of course not, I believe everyone wants to keep their rarely released beers in their area hyped as much as possible for trade value. And yes I believe what I said is true, because its true. Its a beer that sat at their brewery for months. Yes it had a daily limit and was fairly expensive, but that didn't stop many people.

As to BayAreaBeers pointing out that "not everyone lives in SF," its not just SF that are within the hour drive. Sacramento, SF, Oakland, Berkley are all as far as I know well populated areas. I've never been to that area so I cannot say for certain but it looks like a lot of people live in that area.

For comparison, FFF is an hour from Chicago and DL sells out the day its released. I understand there are supposedly more beer geeks in Chicago but both beers are super hyped and tradeable.

All that being said, Beat is an absolutely fantastic beer, but I've traded for several without having to give up ridiculous beers in trade, and both parties are happy.

Absurd trade requests from people with Beat: 1:1 for KH, Blaeber and Armand's. I know the KH trade has been done, and one guy was wanting TWO KH for a Beat. If anyone thinks this is an OK trade you are out of your mind. To those who have trade $4$ for Beat, thank you for not trying to screw your trade partner.
