Cigar City! Not the best selection but at least they get some. I got some oak aged Jai Lai last year. Don't know if Port/Lost Abbey make it to Savannah or not (they do to ATL). Port/Lost Abbey would give you lots of options. Keep an eye out for Lazy Magnolia Timber Beast. Really good double rye ipa that is distributed in GA.

Not really. We got like 2 shipments of Cigar City stuff ever. If you found any of their stuff in GA still it is likely old.

The Port and Lost Abbey stuff should definitely be around. I would check dates on any of the IPAs though. We seemed to just get too big of an order and some of it is lingering. I have not seen Timber Beast bottles, but I know we have had kegs so bottles may be around too.

Here is a better comparison of distribution with NC.

There is no cigar city in GA. If it is.. it's old as grandpa balls.

That sucks. Usually don't see brews enter and leave the market so quickly. Distillery had quite a nice CC bottle selection when I down last year around the holidays.

You are always safe if you find a Port Brewing Older Viscosity. I agree on the IPA stuff. More times than not when I am in GA, when i see Port Brewing IPA's on the shelf, it is well past its prime. Should be safe on any Lost Abbey stuff as their stuff is usually cellar approved.

Thanks for the info, I spent some time out in Colorado and had access to Port/Lost Abbey so I am well versed on that one and excited to hear they are in GA. I will pass the info along to my friend!

Even better news for you then, expect it to be at least a buck or 2 cheaper per bottle than it was in CO. In fact, the 375s here are usually $13-14. When I bought some in CO they were $17-18.

we are just getting CCB in a hit or miss situation in SFL even now. If you see it out of state you may want to avoid it, they were supposed to be pulling back on all of that a good while back

Like everyone else said about CCB, there may be one random shop with 2 very old sixers of Jai Alai, not worth it.

I'm not sure what the distribution is like down there, but if you see any Wild Heaven get it, it's truly great beer and once they get their brewery going (they're contract brewing now), they'll be the top dog in GA.

Wild Heaven is usually available at both Habersham Beverage locations. GA just got Westbrook IPA and White Thai cans in this week but it may be another week until it makes it to the Savannah area. I am not sure if NC gets Ipswich but we just started get bombers of their stuff and I am a big fan of the Oatmeal Stout and Rye Porter.
