    I can honestly say I love what Sixpoint is doing with their lineup and what they have done with their re-formulations. I can't wait to try Beast Mode, I'm on the lookout for that since I was a huge Diesel fan.

    yeah, have been impressed with the scene down there for sure...

    You're going to love Beast Mode then. Its not designed to be your typical maple syrup bomb Porter. Its 2015, and this is Beast Mode.

    Stay tuned.

    I have always been a huge Sixpoint fan. Living on Long Island i still warmly remember the days when I had to go to the Big Z or Bellport Bell or A & R in Seaford and get Bengali Tiger or Sweet Action in my growler or go or Croxley's for a pint before they canned their beer...

    Having said that, they're still a top notch brewery with their newer beers, still remember their roots and, most importantly, @Sixpoint presence on this site has brought it up even another notch. Always informative with a depreciating humor anyone with a sense of humor can enjoy. Keep it up.

    By the way, Autumnnation was selling fantastically right up until the last can. I can vouch for that. Cheers.

    Please say The Crisp is coming back this summer, that was a great one to crack on the beach at 11:00 AM plus a lot of other times...

    That might be my favorite Sixpoint. Really really good for an IPA off the shelf.

    the suggestion has been noted

    wow, you are old school for sure. The craft scene on LI has evolved by leaps and bounds. I remember doing events at Mr. Beery's way back in the day!

    Crisp is a year-round brew. You should have no problem procuring it.

    And in 6packs now too.

    Just snagged some Hi Res Tuesday evening, and hoping to pick up some new Beast Mode in a few more days;

    have to say I dig the slightly "tweaked" Hi Res formulation - still super delish and drinkable like last year, and a little bit less "hot" for a 10.5% IIIPA....I will likely be getting a case before it disappears!

    Bring on the Beast (Mode!)...can't wait to try!

    @Sixpoint I do like the new Sweet Action recipe - but I kind of miss the old one too. Any chance we might see a version slightly more similar to that spring up again? Hope the recipe wasn't lost :wink:

    I passed on a six-pack of Beast Mode since it was $14 a 6-pack, but that was at a somewhat pricey store. I'll go with a single can first, just in case. You set the bar quite high with 3Beans. Hopefully that something "very, very special" isn't draft-only or Beer4Beasts-exclusive like BA 3Beans, 4Beans, BA Otis, and regular Otis. I've also never had the Gorilla Warfare, but I think that might have gone the way of the Dodo, as well.

    I just saw your tagged post and will definitely read the article later. Luckily, I got 15 years left of good tastebuds. I can tell that my palate has changed just in the short time that I've been drinking. Midas Touch got me into craft, but it's no longer my cup of tea. Belgian styles like Quads and BSD/PA's don't really do it for me anymore either, at least for the most part. I'm getting to the point where I see myself getting six-packs of beers that I know I love.

    I see those threads you talk about, but most of the time they are about breweries outside of my distribution network. I just like reminding Founders about their lack of MD distribution, despite their promises to come here each year since 2012.

    You already know that there is a vocal minority that doesn't miss a chance to echo their desire for a comeback tour of some of your previous beers that seem to have a very short time to shine (planned obsolescence, just to use a fun phrase). I think the issue is that we understand the nature of collaborations or one-offs, but with you we never know what is on the chopping block. So we have to treat them as if they all are, which is great from a business perspective, since it instills a sense of urgency in the consumer, but is annoying for fans of certain beers.

    p.s. Also, I don't understand how you have so many unique beers ready for that one festival. Do you guys just have a bunch of carboys going to make those limited batches of those beers?

    @CleanFiend

    Hi there,

    We are confident that we will be bringing sufficient horsepower to please your tastebuds - and yes, it will not just be a limited, draft-only offering. Expect a larger blast from us!

    Regarding that one festival, it is absolutely Herculean effort from the brewers, but yes, it does involve a lot of carboys, but it also involves a ton of planning months in advance.

    @Sixpoint I'm told Beast Mode is nearly gone here in MD, I hope those that wanted to try it did not miss out.
    Last night at Roofers Union DC they said they would be having a Beast Mode special until the Super Bowl. Cheers. @gillagorilla
