Total newbie here. I'm trading with a guy on the west coast, and I need a couple 12X12oz beer shippers. My cavemen ways of packaging beer are really sketchy. Advice would be much appreciated.
I have done tons of trading.......lots of bubble wrap and ensure there is not room in the box for the bottles to clang around. I use newspaper, grocery bags anything that can take up head room.
The only place I've ever seen the 12 oz bottle particle shippers is when I've ordered from some place like Halftime Beverage. So I don't know if those are terribly easy to find for purchase online. However, this style is available for purchase if you Google around: The trick is that, since the 12 oz bottles are too small to fit snugly as shown in the picture, you have to supplement by wrapping each bottle with some bubble wrap, which obviously provides some extra cushioning in addition to making the bottle fit more snugly. Here is one place to buy these types of things, but this is just the first result I came up with. I'd encourage you to shop around for the best price: http://www.packaging-b2b.com/b2b/food_packaging/1/molded_pulp_wine_35.html Here is another option: http://www.winepacks.com/
Try these: http://www.uline.com/BL_5450/Styrofoam-Wine-Shippers?keywords=Bottle Shippers As mentioned previously, add newspaper or bubble as appropriate so they don't rattle around.
