Hi i'm new but i need help with deciding a good beer for a wedding. My soon to be wife has put me in charge of beer. I need a beer that pairs well with Roast beef. Any ideas ? I was leaning with some sort of red ale.

If my recent experiences are indicative of weddings everywhere, few people will think twice about the beer and food pairing (unless it's a formal dinner and not a buffet). Just get any beer you like and hope the majority of people will enjoy it.

Same as BuckeyeOne. It's your day, so pick a beer that you want.
My wife and I had Allagash Curieux at our wedding. One of my favorites, but judging from how quickly the keg kicked, other people's favorite also.

I wouldn't worry so much about pairing it with food. Most of the guests won't pay much attention to that. They will want something that tastes good but isn't too heavy. My wedding was in the summer. We went with Brooklyn Pennant Ale and Allagash White and both were big hits.
