I am using a turkey fryer for my brew kettle and my heat source for my mash turn. How in the heck do I regulate the temperature?

I have a direct fire mash tun. I use a pump to recirculate my wort while I am heating. When I hit my temp I turn the fire off. I lose a degree every half hour, so I might put a low flame back on towards the end of my mash. Hope this helps.

You're going to need a thermometer to gauge the temp. Simply watch the heat loss over time and turn on heat source once you get a degree or 2 below. After doing a couple a mashes you should be able to figure out your system and whats the best way to hold a certain temp.
