I have a 1 hr. layover in O'Hare in a few weeks. Can anybody give me a quick overview of beer bars in the terminals?

Last time I flew out of ohare I felt lucky to find 312 amidst the many "premium imports."
If you find anything good, let us know!

What terminal are you in? Terminal 1 has a Rick Bayless' with Goose Island drinks like Lolita, Juliet and a beer made specially for Rick Bayless' restaurant. It's Gate 10 and the best food in O'Hare.. This is coming from me, a frequent traveller who flies out of Chicago.

There's a Goose Island-themed bar in one of the terminals -- I can't recall which one; which is just as well, because they'll probably have Matilda and Honkers but little else. The two Tortas Frontera outposts might have Marisol. But with only 1 hour in between flights, if you're that interested in a beer, just pick the bar with the fewest people and/or that's closest to your departure gate.

Yeah that looks like what I would need to do. And maybe forget about beer and go with Jack D.

That one hour layover is probably barely enough time to chug a beer at O'hare. If you are lucky you will be in the same terminal but I usually end up running through the underground walkway between terminals. Good luck.

I echo the Goose Island bar, next to the also great Rick Bayless restaurant, for beer.

Everything else is chain bars I think - Fox Sports bar, etc.
