How many feet of copper tubing should I use for each tap? Is 3/8" diameter tubing right? Appologies if this should have been posted in a different forum.

50-100 SS is typical. 3/8" is fine. 50' will be cheaper. Just make sure you use a lot of ice.

if you intend to build a jockey box you should use s/s tubing which is quite expensive. check out micromatic for all the needed gear. you should know that a jockey box serves a specific purpose and most everyone who wants to build one 1) is attempting to avoid a kegerator 2) does not realize how much a jockey box costs and 3) should probably just rent the box if it is for a one time or occasional use.

a jockey box is great for one time, one day, high volume, quick and dirty draft beer events. 9 times out of 10, you don't want to build a jockey box.

if you still think you want to build and own a jockey box, let us know.
    Cheers.
