I think I really like RYE!

You said you've already had it but Hop Rod Rye was a game changer for me. In fact, i definitely need to buy some ASAP. It's been too long.

 

It was a one-off and is probably pretty much gone now, but I muchly enjoyed Jack's Abby's Rye India Pale Lager, called the R.I.P.L. Effect.

 

The best one, in my opinion...Boulevard's Rye on Rye...made in Templeton Rye barrels...released last week! I am waiting for my 2 case order to arrive here tomorrow!

 

westbrook's single hop rye ipa series is killer.

 

I really like rye's when they are on cask. Freakin amazing.

 

Terrapin Rye Pale Ale. People generally go for their Hopsecutioner, but I found this rye very yummy. It's been a while since I've had one (geographic reasons) so I can't give an exact description of malty and blah blah.

 

The Bruery's Smoking Wood, Rye Barrel Aged...

Vertical Jewbelation, aged in Rye Whiskey Barrels...

 

if someone walked up to me and said "I think I really like RYE"...I think I might push my finger in their eyeball

 

I'm pretty much in the same boat.

Any suggestions for rye saisons, or any rye beers that aren't super hopped up, would be appreciated.

 

^Again, Saison Rue is the only one I know of but it is fantastic.

 

Wild Brew 2012, a rye saison from Choc Brewing Co., is really good. Probably hard to find though.

 

Lots of good ones have already been mentioned. I'll also throw on the fire Rising Tide - Daymark.
