IBU question

    Yes, Noob here...
    If i want my IPA to be 40 - 45 IBU how do i calculate this with my hop addition schedule ?
    actually, how do i do it period ? lol

    The simple answer is to use brewing software.

    I use www.beercalculus.hopville.com and ibrewmaster on my iphone. Make sure to change the AA% to match the hops you have on hand. The system will have a general AA% for each hop but it may be different from the hops you actually have. It should be listed on the outside of each pack of hops.
