From the subject line I expected this to be about putting ice cream in your beer—which I'm totally doing the next time I pick up a Snoqualmie Steam Train Porter. Frosted mug and everything.

But yes, I love beer and I love ice cream. Sounds like a match made in heaven. Cheers!

Beer floats are a staple for me. Big bad baptist, any of the Yetis, and Lagunitas cappuccino stout all are excellent with a fat scoop of Ice cream plopped in em

Mitchell's Ice Cream in Cleveland has made ice cream versions of Edmund Fitzgerald and Christmas Ale in the past. Tasty stuff..

Boulevard had ice cream, I think it was a collaboration with a local shop. I forgot though.

They noted that Cherry Adam from the Wood ice cream is most likely the first ever bourbon barrel aged ice cream... that just sounds ridiculous. I want it. So much.

My friend converted me to beer floats last night when he poured an ounce or two of Melange No 3 over some vanilla ice cream, amazing. I said how cool it'd be to make beer ice cream, or beer cream I guess. Really glad to see someone doing it, hope it catches on, only my idea contained actual alcohol in the ice cream, which I stand by.
