I spent two weeks in Northern France a couple of years ago and couldn't find any hoppy beers. When we got into the airport at Reykjavik, I went to the bar and said "Please tell me you have hoppy beer!" The bartender slammed down a bottle on the counter and said "This is what you want: ULFUR! It means 'wolf'." It was like heaven after two weeks with no IPA.
