Have a trip coming up in about a month and will be heading to Iceland. Is anyone around from the country? Or anyone here been and have any beer tips? Where to go, what to drink? I have a rental car so will be driving the ring road around the island.
Definitely stop at Micro Bar in Reykjavic, we had a blast there with Stein and Iggy, and they have a great selection of beers from all over Europe and Iceland. It's downtown in one of the hotels, I forget the name.
thanks! I've heard that name so will definitely hit it up. Budget wise was a night drinking fairly pricey or not that bad? I've heard you can rack up a good bill fairly easily
Everything in Iceland was a bit pricey, so it's hard to say it was just Micro Bar. Definitely not a cheap night, but we ended up hanging out with them for a while and they bought us some rounds, great guys.
