You can't get more iconic than a Bud or Miller High life label.

Yeah, Anchor Steam Beer is another iconic US beer label ----- Wait - "WTF ?" *

    * Is what I thought when I first came across it. Considering how old some ASB is on the shelves, one wonders how long this "limited" label is going last in some stores...:slight_frown:.

Budweiser, pretty sure it's been the same since Anheuser met Busch

Well, a time-traveler (in either direction) would probably recognize it:

But the label's only been around, originally brewed for Busch's friend and customer, Carl Conrad, since 1876. Adolphus met the soap manufacturer (and his future father-in-law), Eberhard Anheuser, in the late 1850s when he was trying to sell him brewing supplies (Busch's original business).

It obviously depends on when one first drank it, but this is the iconic Old Peculier packaging for me:

If I ever open a brewery and can afford it, I'd have the guy who did a lot of the cover art for Drive By Truckers do my labels.

    Just always loved that style.

Ha! Username and beer choice pairings have never been more perfect.

Here's my nominee for iconic labels:
