It’s post societal collapse, haven’t had a beer in over a year. I’ve bugged out to a cabin in North east Vermont and Hill Farmstead is still in full operation making all of their flagship and one offs still to same quality standards (ignore reality that supply chains are gone for my movie script). and willing to do old school fair deal horse trading for a little red wagon load of beer. I’d pull it 5 miles each way on those gravel roads for sure. A solid days work!

Well, if I could drink my next favorite beer with family and friends while walking, it could be several miles! :stuck_out_tongue:

I've walked to the Bruery a few times in the past, just over a mile there. Coming back it's a little further...Something mathematical that has to do with straight lines (and high ABV).

As long as you arrived home without a bandaid on your face I declare that you are a winner!

We've done the Fünf Seidla Steig, 20,000 plus steps, lots of hills. Wonderful day that was.

Let's see. About 40 feet over to the fridge. My Dad smoked Camels
in The Philippines in WW Two and the Army kept the troops looped on all the free Camels that they could smoke. By the late 50s, diagnosed with emphysema, he could barely walk two blocks.

Over 3 miles I’d take my bike or subway. Live in Brooklyn and sold our car around 2 years ago. Cars are just a waste of time and money here.
Not an issue because around 8 breweries within striking distance by foot. Countless options via subway.

I certainly walked a mile for a pack of Camel smokes in my day, but I would never walk very far for my beer because I would be afraid I would drop it.

If I was walking a couple miles and happen to come across a cold coors banquet it would probably save my life. I wouldn’t walk a couple miles purposely to only buy beer though. Unless I was on vacation and already too drunk to drive
