I'm going to be in Coeur d'Alene for a friend's wedding the second week of July. Looking for some recommendations for beer spots (breweries, bars, stores) and any must see restaurants as well. Flying in to Spokane so would like to check out any breweries around there or on the way to Coeur d'Alene. Cheers!
Selkirk Abbey is in Post Falls, just west of CDA between CDA and Spokane. Excellent Belgian styles and a really cool space. In CDA go to Capones for a good draft list, and Pilgrims for a good bottle shop. Also Enoteca is a great bottle shop in Post Falls, not far from Selkirk Abbey.
Ramblin' Road (first), Iron Goat (second) in Spokane. Slate Creek in Coeur d'Alene. I live 5 miles from Selkirk Abbey and go there twice a year. Each to their own I suppose. Famous Willies BBQ behind Enoteca in Post Falls (not a chain), then carry the food into Enoteca which usually has some decent taps and tables. The restaurants here basically suck so don't expect anything to write home about.
