Not sure if this is a new idea or not, and I know the plate is quite full with great requests and suggestions, but thought I'd throw one out there.

Presently, reviews are categorized into two buckets: "BA SCORE" and "THE BROS"

When I look at reviews, I first check out what "THE BROS" said because I know they're familiar with what they're talking about. Then, I go to the reviews under "BA SCORE" to see what the populous said. I used to pay more attention to the reviews from higher-BA-Karma point members as a way of putting some weight to the review. For example, and I know this has been stated a lot, I don't want to read a negative review about a beer which is rooted in the reviewers distaste for the style or perhaps their lack of knowledge of the style.

My suggestion.... it'd be great if there was a 3rd bucket, name TBD, that was reserved for folks with some level of knowledge. Examples would be brewers, judges, industry folks, etc. I'm not sure how to properly manage this, and it'd probably result in a lot of debate etc.; however, I know the end-result would be great.

    Just a thought!

Thanks for the idea, but we'll pass. We'd like to keep the ratings consumer-focused.
