Would have to agree with Saison
    Solid Saison
    Solid IPA
    Solid Porter/Stout
    Solid Berliner Weisse
    and perhaps a Gose...

Heck yeah ... I'd love to move to Austin about a block away from Live Oak.

BINGO! Was going to say the same and saw your post just above the blank post box.

I might add in addition to "not american style of belgians" not kinky, weird American beers made with Belgian yeast.

I believe this bar exists in Fort Collins.

If I had my druthers, I would hope for a local brewery with a knack for stouts - milk stouts, oatmeal stouts, dry stout, RIS, barrel-aged, the whole nine. Throw in the occasional porter as well.

If not that, then a brewery that specialized in strong, dark Belgian Ales.

A brewery that can make a beer that tastes like two hearted but with 40% abv. Drinking all these beers is making me fat

I'm a minority. Barrel aged and big beers are always welcome. (Weyerbacher and Allentown Brewworks is doing just that but there's always room for another brewer around here doing more of these.)

I really should just move next door to Trve and call it a day.

I'll say what everyone is thinking. A brewery that makes a different and amazing IPA/DIPA with some regularity. Between Kane/Carton/Tired Hands I'm pretty set.

No, it's possible. We have a brewery here in Seattle that does English session ales and serves all of their beer on cask in their taproom. They usually have six beers or so on cask. Machine House Brewery.

Yeah, I heard of such a brewery on the other coast. Thought it was California, but forgot. Maybe it was Machine House.

For right next door I would want something that specializes in lower alcohol (4-6%), but at a variety of styles. German styles would be a huge plus. Light, dry saisons. 6% balanced, hoppy ales. The rest I can pick up at the store.

I stopped at Victory this summer and really enjoyed Uncle Teddy's, one of my favorite beers that i've had this year. I also really enjoyed Heartbeat Man when i stopped at Forest and Main.

We should build a shanty town in the Victory parking lot. Plenty of room.

Luckily I live in walking distance to Victory brewing, German Lagers, IPA's, and Stouts and plenty of variation. Also get Tired Hands right around the corner at Station Taproom regularly when I don't want to jump on the train to go to the brewery. I'd say my location is pretty damn good as is. When I want something more unique I fire up the homebrew equipment in the back yard.

You live in Chicago, you should have no complaints about local breweries.
