Wow, as iconic as cars are in American culture, I can't believe that there is only one cap with a car on it.

Amazing that I've never noticed the lack of automobiles....there's every other form of transportation from bikes, boats, planes trains, etc...

The only cap I could come up with is Bean Blossoms Hard Cider which has a pickup truck on it. Good People, unfortunately, still has blank caps.

If you're looking for breweriana featuring automobiles you can always expand the collection to include Gretz Beer cans...

No idea what the crowns looked like, but some labels from the same era also featured cars.

Just following through that link and into the guy's photobucket account it looks like he's a homebrewer that got some caps done. They do look nice though.

Here is the only cap that I have that shows a car on it. These caps were used as tokens at a beer fest fundraiser for this museum. If you're an old car lover and ever in the neighborhood just NE of Kalamazoo, it's a great place to visit.

The cap with a car on it bothered me as well. I've been thinking about it hard and thought maybe Hop Rod Rye, might . So much that I ran to the store to check. It doesn't.

I thought Detroit's motor city brewing would have had a car, but it has gears on it (which I mistook for a steering wheel for as long as I have had the cap).

Just a thought on the lack of them though....I wonder if it is just hard to put a car on them without running afoul of some copyright infringement if it looks to much like a certain car....or the head government guy Kent "Battle" Martin who rejects nearly everything that comes across his desk from brewers looking to get their labels and caps approved doesn't like the idea of beer and cars together. Weirder things have happened. Read this article about some of the things Mr. Martin has denied:

Hi, I have only just seen the request for help to identify 3 beer caps. Coronaeus is correct - the right hand cap is from Belgium (Brasserie Saint-Feuillien S.A.); schteve is also correct, the middle cap is from Cumberland Breweries, UK who brew their beer in both Northern Ireland and England. The third cap is also from the UK and is issued by Fullers, London. The specific beer product is called 'Frontier - New Wave Craft Lager'. The cap was first issued in 2014 and was an attempt by Fullers to introduce a craft beer into their standard range range.

Sorry, I cant help you with the identification of the top left 'hops' cap. I guess others have looked at the same crowncaps reference sources as me and not found it.

[IMG] "Identify the bottlecap". AND DO IT NOW!!! (please, whenever you get around to it).
I drank this maybe 12-15 years ago. I have no idea what the name is, what with all that crazy calligraphy/hieroglyphics/secret code. Some sort of eastern-European beer...maybe Bulgaria-ish?
