It's the Nashoba Valley Winery/Brewery collaboration that everyone has been clamoring for, obviously. Idle Hands asked the question: "what if we made our beer, but then made it terrible by working with Nashoba?"

Seems like a second taproom. Possibly in Burlington MA.

Oh nice, they subdivided the old Sears space, the saddest part of that mall. That area is another brewery blackhole, as someone who used to work in Burlington. Looks like this will be in the old sporting goods section at Sears.

Well, the big announcement is at noon today. The Burlington Mall doesn't do much for me, but I'm glad it works for some of you guys and hope it's a huge hit for Idle Hands.

Also announced that Six Seam and Two Seam are going to be year round offerings. And they've updated the can art for the core beers: Two, Four, Six, Gretel, and Farmhouse Pale (RIP Proeme).

The updated can art doesn't quite grab me, but as long as the contents of the can stays the same... Congrats on the second taproom, IH!

I've been going to that mall since I was a kid back in the '80s. Gonna be weird the first time I sit down to a beer in the Sears.

The description of the new place says:
This is kind of ambiguous to me. To put it simply... will there always be beer or only sometimes?

The space is shared with Hermit Thrush, which is EXTREMELY exciting to me, so it seems pretty straightforward to me that there will always be beer.

Probably should have posted this a couple weeks ago. This gives a better description.

It's like a food hall for beverage producers. Idle Hands, Hermit Thrush and Deacon Giles will all have an individual "Taproom" with a great hall connecting them all. You can bounce between spots, pick one, or hang out in the main hall. There is also a wine focused room too. Something for everyone.

I love that Idle Hands kind of slides under the radar in Boston. let all the hazy-bros stick to Trillium. I’ll take my barstool at Idle Hands and a liter of Gretel any day of the week.

Initial announcement feels good like Crooked Stave at the Source in Denver. We’ll welcome this model here.

Anybody stop in to Common Craft in Burlington? The MiF lives down the road in Reading. Hoping to stop in soon. I assume Idle Hands is pouring the same (or close to the same) beers as in Malden? And I assume they are selling canned offerings to go?

Tried it mid-way through my run this week (I'm only two miles away from Malden Center). Damn was it refreshing outside on the patio. Excellent beer.

My buddy went and said Common Craft is awesome. That's about all the detail I have at the moment, haha.

Anyone swing by today to check out the new draft release? Hoping it's a Czech beer....
