Idle Hands Malden update?

    If I had to guess, it's to make it easier to grip. When I was in Germany they showed me the proper way (for those people at least) to hold the mug. You palm the glass (with your hand inside the handle) rather than holding it by its handle. Especially with a 1 liter mug (I was at Oktoberfest too), it's much easier to hold.

    Aside from that, I THINK the inside is indented and bumpy from the indentations. But this may be more due to form rather than function.

    I'd imagine its also for structural integrity so they can sling these things around bier halls like nobody's business.

    An update on Idle Hands' FB page says they have cellared bottles available this weekend in celebration of CBC - Vigorish, Bourbon Barrel Triplication, Swarm, Darkness Prevails, CRB and Bourbon Barrel Leather. Nice!

    Darkness Prevails is the best beer I've had from them. Not always a fan of dark sours either.
