Great thread and great trip down memory lane. Here are a few in my list that I don’t think have been mentioned.

Dogfish Head Raison d’Etre. Loved this and brewed it myself very successfully a couple times. Sam, please recall!

Weyerbacher Slam Dunkel. Sixes of this and Fireside Ale were on sale and just not selling at one of my local stores and I just kept going back. They both were great but it was the Slam Dunkel that I liked so much.

Weyerbacher Merry Monks. I was so disheartened when they discontinued this. To me it was like a sweeter bubble gum triple if that’s possible. Like candy. I recently found a few bottles at an egregious price at a former Craft Beer Cellar and just had to pay the price. At least they were in the fridge!

Molson Export Ale. I know they still make it in Canada but they don’t “export” it to the States anymore and I haven’t had it since I was a teenager and recall it as being the “crispest” of the Molsons, of which I still enjoy with a lobster!

If we're going to get into naming multiple brews we'd like to bring back, there are many I'd add to my first choice, which was Victory Helios.

Off the top of my head, I'd include Victory's Moonglow weizenbock & Storm King imperial stout; Sierra Nevada's Pale Bock (my favorite beer they ever made); Foolproof's La Ferme Urbaine saison; and Grant's Imperial Stout (which was really more of an export stout, but which I miss dearly anyway).

Ipswich Brewing and Anchor had seasonal dark wheat bocks which were short-lived -- but wonderful nonetheless. If there's a single beer style I'd like to see more examples of, it is dunkelweizenbock.

Victory rebrewed this beer a year+ ago. I purchased a case and I intend to drink these beers over the next 2-3 years and hope they are rebrewed again then.

    Cheers!

I hope they brew it again, too -- and that I will find some!

I have 14 bottles left and I hope to be drinking the last bottle 2+ years from now.

    Cheers!

Sounds like the pilgrimage to Greensboro Bend VT to buy Hill Farmstead beer. Gravel roads, no markers, and then.. there it is, in just about the least populated region of the US Northeast. Except the shack has been replaced by a very modern production brewery!

Coors back when it was delivered by refrigerated truck and before it was delivered across the mighty Mississippi.
Back in the early 1970s this was considered the holy Grail of beer for us highschool kids in Florida.
Was it better when it was delivered in refrigerated trucks?
    I don't think we'll ever really know.
I'm curious to see what y'all think.

Well, if you are going to go all HS nostalgia, I guess I will too. Back in the early 1980s my HS crew were Henry Weinhard's Private Reserve loyalists. I'm not sure if Henrys was transported down south to California in refrigerated trucks but the batches were indicated by bottling numbers on the cap which certainly indicated high quality. We argued about which bottling number was best. Also, $10 a case seemed like a good deal.

I used to get these inexpensive cases at the Berkeley, CA. Safeway. They were a good deal. One of the Weinhard's brews was an amber seasoned with Cascade hops.

Blitz Weinhard Brewing Co., the brewer of the Henry Weinhard brand, was a subsidiary of Pabst (which bought it in and then Heileman - both multi-million barrel "Big 6" US breweries in the early 1980s.
Later the brand was owned by Stroh and then Miller and MillerCoors. Maybe the record for a brand owned by multiply US macro brewers.

MolsonCoors' subsidiary apparently revived the brand last year, after the parent company dropped the beer (it had been being brewed at Coors in Golden, CO).

(Oops - never finished my edit on that.)
Pabst bought BW in January 1979, so about two years after the brewery released the first bottled batches of Henry Weinhard's Private Reserve in the winter of '76-'77. Earlier batches were draught-only served in the brewery's hospitality room.

Okocim Porter. A brilliant beer that I think Carlsberg eventually had trouble mass producing

Young's Old Nick. Advertised as a barleywine, though the 7.5% ABV was more old ale. Rich and malty, with some flavors you'd normally find in a hefe. Unique and tasty. One of my Old Nick memories from the mid 80's was downing 6 of them on a Friday night, then getting a call from my club early Saturday reminding me that they needed me for the 10 mile race that morning. I was mostly a skier so a running race in May had somehow slipped my mind. Surprised myself by finishing 4th overall. Then I slept for 18 hours...
