....where should I hit in "the city" for an awesome bar with craft brews and possibly any craft beer store to hit up too (I live in MA, so any places with stuff I can't get here?) I got invited to the VIP AMG Preview night before the show opens to the public, it will be a foofy thing with cocktails and food--and of course some of the best cars produced I will be there Thursday and Friday, staying in the city. My friends that live in the city are not into beer, so I figured some of you might know. I'd prefer a chill place as I'm an old married fart and my clubbing days are long gone! TIA
GingerMan And Rattle and Hum are walking distance from Javits Center. (Just over a mile.) Blind Tiger and Beer Table you're better off taking a taxi or driving. Earl's Beer and Cheese and Spuyten Duyvil are other further options.
The Pony Bar is your best option- it is only a couple blocks from the Javits. But really, check the million threads on BA asking your same question.
