I'm looking for a distinctive Irish red ale

    My guess is that the Dutch-brewed version is bottom fermented.

    This is what I was going by. I don't have a bottle in front of me to say for certain what the current ABV is on this one. Still, even if 5.9% I wouldn't think of that as imperial. Standard pub strength.
    Regardless, if you've had it and it's not what you're searching for, we'll move on.
