I'm looking for brews in Atlantic Beach, NC

    I've found 1 place local on the isle that sells a selection of craft beer and that's the Food Lion. Decent selection but all stuff I've had before. Fat Tire, 1554, Sierra Nevada, Chimay, a few ND and Georgia up A's. Carolina Strawberry and Blonde. I know of the place in Swansburg, but I really don't want to drive 30 miles. Any help or info would be awesome. I was really hoping to get a hold of some Belgians we don't get in My. ST. Bernardus,Achel,etc. Anyone from here or know the area?

    Unless things have changed since the last time I was there you are going to have to get in your car and drive. The Emerald Isle Wine Shop has a decent selection if you don't want to drive all the way to Swansboro, but I would make an excursion and hit both shops - you can always stop at the Big Oak for a shrimp burger along the way. (And that is worth an excursion in itself.)

    Yes, Brew Haus in Swansboro. But the OP didn't want to drive that far.
