So I picked up my first ever bottle of Evil Twin's IBB and when I got home I noticed there was a best before 2015 on the label (it was a hold so I didn't catch it in store). I've combed through a little bit online and saw someone who had bought it in 2012 with the same date. My question is, since I've never had this before (and it's a bit too pricey for me to get a second bottle on a whim) should I return it and hope for a fresh one later? I know in general a few years age isn't bad except for coffee taste but I didn't know if maybe this was a 4+ year old bottle or if it's just 2ish. Plus, if my experience with this one is less than par I'm less incline to buy another next year.

    Thoughts?

    You should drink it.

I've seen cases manufactured date 1/15/15 full of bottles with "best before 2015" on the label. Seems like they bought way too many of those labels and have been using them for a long time.

Ahhh, I bet that's what happened then. Cheers!
