It's still hanging around in the Atlanta area.

This shouldn't hang around ANYWHERE. Phenomenal beer. Wish there was more in my area.

Had some IBB last night at the Evil Twin dinner in DC (Birch & Barley). It was better than I remembered, and I liked it just fine the first time!

Jeppe was an interesting character. He discussed his career path, (teacher --> bottle shop owner --> brewer), but didn't go in depth on any of his beers. Learned that Even More Jesus undergoes a 6 hour boil!

Richmond got it maybe 1.5 months ago - super small quantity.

Wouldn't that have been the first batch? The OP said another wave was coming though.

the non imperial version from batch 1 was infected/recalled.
I don't know if they did a non imperial for batch 2.... Lil'B, base of IBB - still imperial, though is fantastic (and maybe even better than IBB)

we got a previous wave of IBB about 5 months before this latest shipment.
we got the second shipment right when the second batch was hitting so I'm assuming it's batch2.

Nope, could be the second batch. We got our second wave about a month ago. Seems entirely possible that Virginia may have gotten theirs a couple weeks early.

I'd finish buying it up, but I think I've already dropped about $150 on this stuff.

There has been a regular biscotti break batch brewed once and IBB has been brewed twice. I must agree that I enjoy lil b more than IBB

I also think regular biscotti has been brewed elsewhere before we did one at Westbrook but so far we are the only place to do IBB and lil b
