I think you drank the new variant . We have been out of the deccico version for a while

There is still a lot of the IBB around in the Triangle in NC. It's going for $14.99 at most places.

Wish we had it in SW Pennsylvania. I'd love to try it.

Whats different about the new version "Natale"? I thought it tasted a little different maybe not as sweet as usual and a little thinner body.

Lil' B is insane, I can't believe this still sits on the shelves here in Florida, regardless of the slightly higher prices  It tastes like friggin Surly Darkness to me.

Man, if this is as good as everyone screams it is, and it's a bomber for $15, then that's not nearly as expensive as I thought it would be. I was expecting like $1/oz expensive, or worse, so while $15 for 22oz is absolutely still crazy, it's something I'm willing to splurge for. Hope to find this locally.

I would absolutely shell out $15 for a bottle of this stuff. Just had it on tap for the first (and only) time about a month ago, and that was probably my latest "Wow!" moment for a beer. Absolutely delicious. Obviously at that price point it's not something I would buy too often, but definitely worth it now and then.

Not sure if I posted in this thread yet. I don't think I did.

My dad had this on-tap in Chicago back in July and claimed it's the best beer he's ever had. We were at separate bars at the time, so I didn't get to taste it. They don't distribute to Michigan.

    Drag.

Personally I struggled to get down Crème Brulee, but I love IBB (have bought way too much of it). To me, CB is one-dimensionally sweet, whereas IBB is rich. There's a difference.

Is it expensive? yes. My store has em for $13.99, which actually sounds better than some other places.

Is it good? Absolutely. I completely disagree with the commenter saying it compares to Creme Brulee. This beer is so well balanced where as Creme Brulee is WAAAAY too sweet. I had heard about this beer for so long and decided to give it a try, and man I am happy I did. Just fantastic

In my opinion this is better than any imperial stout that I have tried. I have done Stone Espresso RIS, Espresso/Oak Yeti, Speedway, and a hand full of others and this was my favorite. Speedway probably comes closest for me.

Thread (started in 2012) has run its course.

This forum is for new beer release news only; not sightings.

    Thanks.
