So with all of degardes releases being somewhat difficult to keep up with, I'm trying to figure out bottle count/keepers only?/price (cheap, I assume), of imperial cherry marion bu. From what I understand there is also imperial cherry bu and imperial marion bu, so it's fairly difficult to search for this specific bottle. if anyone knows info about those as well would be helpful.

    cheers!

Imperial Cherry Marion Bu = $10, 3 bottles pp but it looks like it lasted a few days in the taproom.
Imperial Cherry Bu = $10, 1 bottle pp at the anniversary event. Not sure if it was available afterwards.

Sorry, cannot find any information on Imperial Marion Bu in my quick research.

Price details are correct. Neither were keepers. Last 2 keepers "bu" were Imperial Marion and Imperial Nectarine. Apparently Imperial Nectarine got a few lackluster reviews early - including mine - but drinks much better from bottle than from tap. This is usually the case with the bu IMHO.

Imperial Cherry more or less sold out at the party. The brewer said that there was something like a case left of each of the Imperial Bu after the party and they were snapped up first thing the following morning by the first people in line.

Imperial Cherry Marion sold out in a day from what friends told me ... though it may have lasted a day or two simply because I believe it was released on a Thursday and it's tough for folks to get out there from Portland on a weekday. For all intents and purposes, you can consider it a 1 day thing.

The above leads me to believe that both were in the 400ish bottle / single barrel realm, as is the case with the majority of De Garde (except for the Foudre beers and variants of hose).

I thought imperial cherry was great. Much better than regular cherry from last year. I'm probably alone in this, but I've gotten a bit tired of stone fruit mania so the cherry was one of my favorite recent imp bu. Haven't had Marion Cherry yet.

It appears it lasted at least three days (May 20, 21, 22) as it was on their board on May 20 and then also on May 22. So yes, it seems to have went fast but certainly appears to have been a few days.

Is that the normal turn-around for Imperial Bus? 1-3 days, or do some last longer?

I was at de Garde Saturday the 23rd, and was able to get bottles of Imperial Marion Cherry Bu and Mosaic Hose (citra hose, and Imperial Orchard were gone), however, they appeared to sell out around 6 on Saturday, I didnt notice a bottle limit, or maybe since I was with a party of 4 they didnt mind me getting 5 bottles

Their Facebook said 3 per person when they first announced it. I was just relaying information I could find.

Wasn't saying you were wrong, I was just saying when I went on saturday I hadn't seen any signage about limits, but like I said, there may have been an limit, but since I had others with me, they might have let it slide since nobody else in my party got bottles

Yeah, no worries. I can see how that might have come out wrong. Either they dropped the limits, or did not care since you were in a larger party, especially if no one else was purchasing them with you I'd imagine.

3 is normal because it takes you to the weekend. They're only open Thursday through Sunday and it's a trek to any real population. The only things that really sell out in 1 are the things that are sold at special events. E.G. The Duo which was sold in Portland on a Saturday; some bottles at the quarterly parties (though they may have a few bottles trickling over to the next day just because they set limits to guarantee everyone at the party gets bottles).

On that Friday I saw the owners at the tin bucket release, casually asked if I would be able to wait until sunday to drive out and they estimated they would close that day (friday) with 100 bottles or less. So I got in the car and was there at opening saturday, about 5th in line. When the door opened the employee working counted the 11 or 12 of us and with a sigh of relief said "okay, at least I have enough for you 12". *edit* just saw the other post from later that afternoon.

Unless they start to go limit 1 during non quarterly event releases, I suspect anything that looks appealing to the masses (e.g. imperial fruit bu) will not make it to the weekend moving forward.
