Imperial Doughnut Break?!

    Just saw a post from Glazed Doughnuts, that they are making 85 dozen doughnuts, for a Westbrook/Evil Twin beer, called Imperial Doughnut Break. Looking forward to this one!

    This one was at Brewvival this year. Careful what you wish for, unless you like drinking liquid diabeetus. It was....sweet.

    I tried this at brewvival. I thought it was good, but sweet nothing special compared to the original verison. Mine may or may not have been mud tainted.

    Awwwww, don't hate on the Rogue Maple Bacon! I liked that... unlike many other people.

    No it actually tasted like doughnuts, not terrible, but normal IBB is still my personal favorite

    I'm with you, I did not think the Maple Bacon was bad...the Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana on the other hand was awful.

    I was scared to try the pb and banana one. I just envisioned an overly fake banana flavor in beer and it wasn't "a peeling" to me.

    Ahhhh Brewvival, my favorite fest of the year. Anyone know if tickets are going on sale on black Friday this year?

    I'll chime in with a couple quick things:

    1. The Imperial Doughnut Break is not technically a collaboration. It is an Evil Twin beer brewed at Westbrook using Glazed doughnuts.

    2. We do expect Brewvival tickets to go on sale Black Friday but that will be confirmed one way or the other within the next couple of days.
