This has been one of my favorites for years, and I come back to it every fall.

Okay, here i go again. Trying another Green Man Demon Dwellar BA series brew (yes, me who panned a Gingerbread Chocolate BA stout and was roundly booed by the crowd for bringing that weak S**T to this forum LOL!)
This is another dessert beer, which is more in line with what i like, a Mexican Lava stout. Very similar to the Westbrook Mexican Cake beer which my palate has always enjoyed. The BA base beer and the chili, cocoa nibs and cinnamon adjuncts were blended together very nicely, overall a 4.0.
    Cheers!

Next up is a classic old school roasty stout, Expedition. Thought i was out of this but was surprised to find one. World class non-BA stout IMHO.
    Cheers!

I’ve only had chili peppers in beer once and it was Abraxas. Liked it a lot. Can imagine it being awful if it was heavy handed tho

    My biggest gripes are:
    1. I don't like "Mexican (hot) chocolate" beer. Everyone I have had has been bad.
    2. I don't need spicey beer - it needs to add something to it. If I want a spicey beer, I'll go for some type of light option that is meant to be a pepper beer (which I have had, and can be done well).
    3. Needs to not taste like green peppers.
I think a little subtle heat on the back end of something sweet could be nice, but I haven't personally rarely encountered that beer.

Oh, and if you haven't had Prairie BOMB! Before, you should try it. Haven't had one in years, but it really is (or was) quite good. I definitely understood the hype back when.

Abraxas, Hunapuh, Westbrook they can all be good in small doses and i’ve found some years are better balanced than others. i am a big fan of Chemtrailmix which uses pink peppercorns (i guess instead of chili peppers) along with cinnamon.

been a bit since i’ve had a HF dark beer, although i never enjoy them nearly as much as their “Farmstead ales.” this one is enjoyable though. subtle maple and strong barrel. perfect for the cooler weather that’s setting in.

This was one of the ones that I've always wanted to try, but never had the juice to get. Always seemed like it'd be wonderful.

(I say this, but I've never had the ability to try any dark beer from HF, whether stout or BW. They sure do seem sublime.)

this one has gotten easier to track down since it gets released almost every year since 2017 (one time twice in one year i think). i like Genealogy of Morals the best of out of their stouts that i’ve tried. never had Damon though.
