    Hello stout thread,

    A week or so ago I had this fellow:

    And tonight I’m all up in this one:

    First time I’ve had either, absolutely loving both. Sat on the parabola for no real reason, and didn’t pick up more over the years because I wound up getting some similarly heralded BCBS and those seemed like just Hershey’s syrup and booze (I’m not above that, just felt I paid for more). This and the triple mash are more what I was expecting from those, so, fuck, I didn’t need more beer directions for my money to want to head in.

    Ahh, the depth of this fucker is immense. Going to sweat some proper chocolate tomorrow.

    2019 Black Tuesday in a can. This defines what a big stout can be. Boozy, but still tons of rich imperial stout comes through. Expensive? I think I paid $20 for this can. Compared to some of the $20-$30 stouts available, this is at the top of my list.

    I finally fuckin found Speedway Stout last night. Planned on drinking it but was so beat i passed out. Currently enjoying it now and it's as good as ever.
    Bought only a single last night but im going back for a pack in a few hours.

    Further proof of my old age came in todays bank statement, they have received the 1st of who knows how many payments for the required RMD's. Thought I'd celebrate with a Buckledown Significant and a toke or two of some Black Afghan....

    This one deserved its own post. I drank this last night and was absolutely blown away. It's among the thickest stouts I've ever had, and I so admired the head retention and the way the beer stuck to the glass, I just couldn't stop taking pictures, so bear with me.

    I couldn't even get to the last drop because it all stuck to the side of the glass before it got to my mouth. This was truly a sublime beer experience.
