Onto round 2, found the last of my KBS, bottled in 10-2021. Still getting the barrel and a touch of chocolate. No green peppers, not an off flavor perceptible to me fortunately!

Definitely need to try again, gave it a 4.17 overall I recall

Enjoying a nice little (9%) RIS from Thirsty Dog. Have one bottle left along with one BA Siberian Night, will need to look for this in the fall given the nice price point.

Lupulin Cinnamon Coffee Shop Assault Vehicle Imperial Pastry Stout, 9% ABV. Slightly better than the base beer. I rated it 4.52.

 

New local place (to me). This is beyond surprising for a shelf pickup. The barleywine from them was also top level. Bought two of those but only one of these. Need more. Toffee/burnt sugar bomb

Far From The Tree - This single barrel stout was aged in an apple brandy barrel with a touch of Maple Wheatwine. Expect notes of caramel covered apples, dark chocolate, and warming spirits
