Imperial Stout Trooper Bottling Date Question

    Hey all,

    So, I noticed on the "new" Stout Trooper bottles, on the back of the label there is a very small print that says "12/2011" or "12/11"...can't remember which. Anyways, is this the first year they have printed any sort of date code on it? I have a couple from 2010 and I cannot find the date code anywhere. Some clarification would be useful. Thanks!

    The 2010's don't seem to have any sort of dating...can't recall the deal with the 2009's. Though, these are easy to distinguish as the 2009 750mls still had the original label (non-Groucho).

    I'm 100% certain that the 2006 and 2008 12oz bottles are all dated accordingly.

    2008 has a small date in pretty much the same place. Don't remember with 2009/2010.

    2010 had groucho glasses w/ no date...first bottling of 2011 used some leftover labels from 2010, so some of them won't have a date either...

    Okay, awesome. This was the answer I needed, because I got handed one that was "2011" but it must have been from first batch in CT because it had no date. Thanks!
