Are there any plans on improving the trading boards? In my opinion they are slowly becoming a waste of time and space. If there is no option to comment how about adding a feature that will allow to at least "rate" offers, like on reddit for example. But anything really...

IMHO you need to provide more concrete examples of what you would like to improve and ideas for improvement.

Many would argue that removing replies was a big improvement; no more threadshitting, meaningless or juvenile replies, which is what nearly all of the replies were. Trading hasn't slowed down either. But let's not rehash that dead topic ...

I don't see any value in rating offers, especially when many are deleting them once closed. And this would be horribly abused by those trying to get certain offers to the top; assuming you'd want to sort posts by their ratings (another feature that would need to be added), otherwise there's no point in adding the rate offer feature.

(Updated your thread title as it was horribly vague.)

Hmm. Makes sense, didn't think about that. What I was basically thinking about is the fact that there's a lot of trade offers that beyond any doubt won't happen and it's just a pain to scroll through those. It's just my input on the usability of these forums strictly speaking about trading. My personal experience for the last few weeks. So maybe instead of upvote / downvote just add a feature of flagging as "not possible"...but then again, it technically could be "horribly abused".

One thing I have thought of is to add tags to trades to separate whale trades and local trades. Maybe a tag for "locals"? I thought a tag for whales, but that would be highly subjective. This feature would make it easier for people to filter the pages and pages of trades.

I'd have to say that we've traded stupid and pointless replies for stupid and pointless threads. I can't really say what's a worse thing to have.

I don't think the reddit system works that well... the things that get upvoted are the things that people really want to see happen, which is different than things that should happen. There's also the fact that most threads really only get upvoted 5-10 times at most which is hardly any indication of validity.

No trade, really, as the so-called "stupid and pointless" trade threads were always there. People are just more focused on them now that they can't use replies as a form of entertainment and food to feed the value machine.
