Doing a baseball/golf trip and will be in Atlanta on Wed Aug 9th. Staying at Double Tree Suites on Windy Ridge Pkwy. We land 11am and golf at Fox Creek then Phillies game at 7pm. Anything good and close to the area of the ballpark. We are also heading to Birmingham and Montgomery in Alabama but I will post in that forum. Thank You.
5 Seasons brewing brewpub is right there and so is a Taco Mac where you should at least be able to taste a bunch of local stuff on draft.
SBS bottle shop isn't far from there very worth a visit. I hear good things about Smyrna Stout Bros also. Also bring plenty of beer for Fox Creek. Worked there plenty of years and its is meh on its best days. Good for getting out doors and swinging the clubs and drinking a few. switch to Marietta City Club if you want somewhere a little nicer and close.
Stout Brothers is right around the corner from Fox Creek and will be the closest (and best) bet for bottles/growler fills. Next closest would be Smyrna World of Beverage, then SBS/School House if you want to drive a little further.
Terrapin's brewpub is connected to fox bros BBQ at the stadium. It's packed but they brew one offs that don't get distro from terp. Secret hint, you can use your tix and enter the stadium through terp and don't have to wait in lines.
