In Austin this weekend, July 24-25

    Planning to hit JK for Atrial on Friday night. I see Hops and Grain has an event on Saturday as does ABGB. I may try to hit one of those and/or hit ABW after 1PM.

    My question is: is there anything else of note going on in the city? Not necessarily beer-related (although that's always nice). Shows? Food events?

    I'll probably lug down some ABQ beer if anyone wants to meet up for a share or something of that sort.

    Also, anyone know what Yellow Rose availability is like right now?

    This LCD Soundsystem cover band is playing at The Mowhawk Friday night. I've heard good things about them. I think the Mowhawk has pretty decent local bottle/can offerings too.

    ABGB has great food (sandwiches, salads and pizza) so it would be a good stop for lunch one day.

    If you like LCD Soundsystem, you will have a good time at the cover band (All My Friends) show. I have seen them several times and it is always fun. They are playing the Sound of Silver album in it's entirety.

    I would try Sunrise or WhichCraft for Yellow Rose.
