Aloha, Heading from Portlandia for my first trip to Charleston next week. Wondering where I should go and what I should try of the local beers. Mahalo!

http://chsbeer.org/ Here is a good link for what is going on beer with beer in Charleston. Hope this helps.
Yes. Chsbeer.org is a great resource. Hit Charleston Beer Exchange for bottles. Plenty of great local breweries as well. We just passed a law to allow for service of 48 ounces on-site at breweries, so hit them up!
Thanks! The chsbeer site is nice. I am sitting in Closed for Business enjoying some nice stuff we don' t get in Portland.
House of brews in Mt. Pleasant has maybe become my favorite beer bar around the Charleston area. Great great chill vibe. The number of taps isnt huge but they are well thought out and the bartenders are great. Cheap too, especially compared to Closed for Business. Go there on your way to Sullivan's Island, where you need to go anyway to check out Ft. Moultrie (don't waste your time with Ft. Sumter) and get some amazing fish tacos at Poes. They'll have some nice local taps too. The whole downtown Sullivan's Island area is cool. Small but well worth the short drive. I could go on and on, but this would make for a great low country afternoon.
Yes, I was enjoying $4 pints of Two Hearted last Saturday at HoB. They often have $1 off draught specials.
I third HoB. Only drank there once but it was great (probably cause Skoon was there entertaining) and I will definitely be back.
