So i'm doing an end of the season ski trip in sadly warm weather. Any thing beerwise i need to check out while i am in SLC or Park City? thanks
I like Squatters, Red Rock, don't know what they got going on as to new brew's, but I'm sure something will be good at either place, the food is pretty tasty also. Cheers!
I was in Park City a few weeks ago and found the beer selection to be quite lack luster. On the other hand, if you like whiskey High West is worth checking out. I'm not saying it's the best whiskey I've ever had but respectable and they have some nice flight options plus make some awesome classic cocktails.
-RedRock Just released Rêve, their Barrel Aged Tripel. Your timing is perfect! http://utahbeer.blogspot.com/2015/03/reve-and-ctr-return.html -Check out High West Distillery for sure. -Check out the Annex in SLC (Epic Brewing's new brewpub) Wasatch also opened a new Brewpub a half a block away from there as well so that might be a one-two punch for you. -The Beer Bar in SLC (a good selection of local and hard to find Northwest beers) -Park City Brewery just opened up outside of Park City. Check with them on what they have -Bohemian Brewery specializes in old world lagers. Worth a stop if your into those. Happy Hunting!
High West sounds like a great idea, I had no idea it was there. I had already planned on the Annex/Epic Brewing. and hopefully I can get some of that Rêve, thanks for pointing it out, though would it be correct to assume i won't be able to snag a bottle or two?

Thanks everyone for the input. I had a great trip and was able to drink some decent/good beer but wasn't able to really come back with anything notably amazing. Beers drank: Epic Brewing brainless raspberry, cherries, peaches all pretty decent/good. Wasatch devasator blah Red Rock Reve pretty good and thanks for the headsup about the High West. tried a flight of theirs and was pretty impressed. I also learned all about the terrible Utah alcohol laws. anything on tap is max 4% abv. thanks all again.
Sorry to hear that. Epic beers are so so, nothing special. Management/Owner is another story. Cheers!
