In SF and looking for Pliny on tap

    I'm staying at the intercontinental on Howard St and would prefer somewhere close if possible. Anyone know where I could go?

    Fourth Street Bar and Grill always has it on tap.

    Probably the Toronado (take a cab) is the closest for Pliny on tap but for a bottle...just go around the corner to City Beer on Folsom between 7th and 8th.

    City Beer was out when I went in today. Toronado also sells bottles to go.

    Gotta love BA! Thanks mjl21 - stopped over to the fourth street bar and grill and had my first Pliny on tap. What an awesome way to start a night in an awesome city. Only $6 for a pint .... could be dangerous ....

    Urban Tavern on O'Farrell St always has Pliny and Blind Pig on tap, but it's a bit more expensive.

    City Beer gets Pliny bottles on Wednesdays and they usually don't last past the weekend.

    I wish the SF version of TapHunter was updated anywhere near as often as the San Diego version. The San Diego TapHunter is awesome and is very frequently updated, but I deleted the app off my phone after moving to SF because it is NEVER updated.

    I agree with you, gotta love BA. Last September when I was planning to attend a conference in Boston I went to BA--New England forum. I got some great tips on where to go from the local BA's. I took back Pliny and some other California beer to thank a Boston BA beer buddy.
