Inappropriate beers you've pounded?

Shotgunning a can of Heady was inappropriate but also delicious...

I've pounded many things inappropriately. Fortunately, beer isn't among them... too often.

 

Was at a neighborhood party a few years ago, we had a 1/6 barrel of Centennial IPA. Someone had a great idea to start doing kegstands. A few guys went and could only manage 6-7 seconds each. Keep in mind, this is already late into the party and we're a handful of beers in already. Peer pressure got the best of me and I gave'r the old college try. I found out the next day that I was up for 30 seconds. I remember going up, and I remember coming down, nothing in between. It was rough next day.

 

4 Kuhnhenn 4th Dementias in an hour and a half. Also a 4 pack of Double Crooked Tree in an hour. The 4th Dementia hangover was bad. Ah, college....

 

It tastes heavenly...

 

I haven't really chugged anything but I drank an entire growler of a double IPA in one sitting, and that did not end well for me.

 

I did this last night. And they were pints. Ugh. Didn't "pound" them, but drank both in 1.5 hours. Was the first time I'd ever had it. What an awesome beer.

 

LOL yea, It was about the same time frame as well. never again hahahah

 

I have to say that I probably don't remember my most inappropriate beer excesses, but I did once down about 10-12oz of an assortment of Yetis at Great Divide's Brewery since I wanted to walk through the tour but couldn't hold 5 tasters at once.

 

I have two cases that come to mind. The first was an Oak aged yeti downed in about 10 minutes. It was new years and I wanted to have something good but got suckered into playing a drinking game. The other was a glorious night in which a local bar had zombie dust on tap. I had 7 pints over the course of 2 hours. I ended up going back the next night and having 5 more.

 

sorry but you would be dead if you did this. Or at least in the hospital getting your stomach pumped.

 

Mrs. was out of town and I wanted to test my limit with craft. A bomber of ruination, a bomber of alesmith ipa, 1 Burton, 1 bells pale. This was over the course of a few hours but it was enough for me.

Pounded a bottle of Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout at the stroke of midnight on my 21st birthday. Of course at the time I had no idea what it was, and considered it to be more of a punishment.

Thirsty Monk in Asheville tapped a keg of it a while back and myself and 4-5 other geeks showed up upon opening. I sipped the first three or so glasses, but had to finish up a few things at work that afternoon. Was hell bent of drinking as much of it as possible because I was sure it would be gone before I could get back to the bar that night, so the following 8 or so pours were consumed in about a 30 minute span. Shit is so easy to drink... I calculated that the handful of us killed just about half of that keg that afternoon.
And of course, it was still flowing into the next day anyway. Doh!

I shotgun'd a Heady in front of the guy that i IP traded with a few weeks ago. He wasn't impressed.

 

Christmas Eve 2012. The Bruery Smoking Wood with dinner. Followed by 2 BCBS, and one of them I dropped a shot of buffalo trace into.

Watched Tim and Eric Chrimbus Special, Die Hard 1 and 2, Home Alone 1 and 2 and played Fallout 3. All while my brother and I continued to drink. Great night to be honest.
