Indeed HULLABALOO 2014 and...

I know they did said they will have more rum king this year, but I wonder how much more and how early you will have to get into line to get one.

I really want a bottle this year, but can't camp out overnight.

 

Does anyone know what the bottle quantity was like last year, and how fast they sold out?

Never tried Rum King yet, hoping to get a shot at it!

 

Some other BAs I talked to confirmed that bottles will be released at Hullabaloo, but I wasn't able to dig up info on the web, Twitter or Facebook.

Anybody see any confirmation?

Last January it was 360 bottles, sold out in approx 2.5 hours, but not at Hullabaloo. It was a separate event.

 

Wish the Rum King event was a separate event - will be much more crowded now.

 

it was not hard to get last year if you were down there when it went onsale but it did sell out fast. they announced like the day before too, though, so that helped.

This doesn't confirm anything.... other than it will be released oct 11th. Doesn't say anything about bottles.

 

Someone on Twitter just asked and it appears as though the plan is to sell bottles at the event.

Thank you! No one quotes sources anymore... Looking forward to this! It will be cool to get bottles, but mostly I just want to try this beer finally.

As an aside, "rootsy" music sounds much better than whatever happens at Darkness Day normally, but that's just me.

 

Would you imagine they will be available as soon as the event starts that day, or would it be something more towards the end?

 

Damn I want Rum King but with ABR, Darkness day, and an upcoming vacation and proposal I wont be able to ask for the day off work, wish I could go but probs not.

Thanks, I really appreciate it (my wallet might not, but I do), and yeah I'm sure I know of maybe a few people that may pop one open when I am around.
