Plan on kicking a keg of a homebrewed Nelson Sauvin IPA, followed by copious amounts of Cream Ale and Kolsch. Maybe finish off the night big with a La Chouffe and Trade Winds.

I think I'm going to keep it simple and pound Boston Lager most of the day.

Planning to get together with some friends, catch up, and share some beers. It's looking like we'll be enjoying some combination of Heady Topper, Gandhi-Bot, Devil Dancer, and Double Jack. I have some other IPAs around to mix in, but to be honest I probably couldn't drink a full bottle/can of the first 4 I listed in a day before killing my palette. I'll probably skip the HT and save 'em for the weekend.

I'll probably use tomorrow as an excuse to pick up some thematically appropriate beers that I either haven't tried or haven't had in a while. Probably a few from this list, depending on what's on the shelves and what I'm in the mood for.

    Anchor Liberty (duh)
Sam Adams Boston Lager (can't believe I've never had this one)
    Brew Free or Die
Founders KBS (Founders/founding fathers-get it? Also, what's more American than bourbon?)
    Arrogant Bastard (America fuck yeah!)
    Alesmith Yulesmith
SNPA (THE quintessential American craft beer in my book)

I'll have a few Augustiner Lagerbier Hell in the park this evening, maybe some Brooklyn, and if I can find a couple Torpedoes I'll grab those too. No fireworks of course though. People will probably wonder why the two of us are getting drunk in lawn chairs on a thursday afternoon.

    Cascade Apricot, Kriek, and Strawberry
    Crux Tough Love

July 4th tends to be a LONG holiday day for many people.

I have a RuinTen bomber which I'll share with a friend at lunch time, while I'm still smoking ribs.

When I start the grill at 11 am I'll pop open a Karbach Love Street Summer.

Then with my ribs and fireworks I'll have one or two Heady Toppers.

It can all be spaced out and enjoyed... I'd hate to pound all of those in a row early in the day. I wouldn't remember to pull the ribs off my smoker!
